Rainbow trouts can be caught with an incredible variety of baits and methods. But perhaps the one that has caught the most rainbows through the ages is the streamer fly. This fly is equipped with a propeller which gives the fly more life and movement in the water. It can be just that extra trigger on slow days. These flies were developed to fish steelhead with but it also works crazy well on the Swedish rainbow. Absolutely you can also fish for perch, lake trout, sea trout etc with it too. Have you not tried a propeller fly? Then do it!
