Jig Heads

There are many different types of jig heads. Standard jig heads in lead, colored, stand up, screw heads, link heads, offset heads, "Norway heads", tungsten heads, ned heads. It can be incredibly difficult to know which head to choose, but we are happy to help you.

A favorite that we ourselves use for most types of jig fishing is the Spro Jighead Long & Round Gamakatsu, it's a fantastic jig head without a "skirt" and sharp hook. It is available in any number of different weights and hook sizes. To guide you as best as possible with fixed hook jig heads, we have created this template:
