    Vertical fishing rods

Vertical fishing is really exciting and fun. This fishing can be conducted for zander, pike and char, among other things. For vertical fishing, a short rod helps, preferably with a bit of backbone so you can easily drive the hooks into the fish. There are vertical rods that are for reel reels and vertical rods that are for multi reels. We ourselves prefer multi-reel as it is very easy to release and stop the bait without having to use too many movements.

There are both one-piece and two-piece vertical rods. Which one you choose is a matter of taste. When choosing a weight classification, it may be wise to think about the weight of the heads you are going to use. Often we use 30-35g on our jig heads and then a rod with a weight rating of 40g-60g can be really good so there is some powder left to drive the hooks in with.

Use thin braided line when fishing vertically as it cuts through the water more easily, you want to have as good direct contact with the bait vertically as possible. Jigs used are jigs without a paddle so that it cuts through the water bodies as easily as possible. Have you tried vertical fishing? Do it!
