Winter fishing

Winter fishing can be really fun when there is ice. Here we have collected different rods for both ice fishing and pimp fishing. For ice fishing, rods that are between 115cm and 130cm long are used. On these rods you put a reel that holds quite a lot of line as these rods must lie on the ice and when it snaps you run up to the rod.

Pimple rods are significantly shorter with a very small reel or no reel at all but only a coil. These rods are meant to be held all the time and jerked to entice the fish to bite. Therefore, these rods are not very long or heavy.
