Waders and shoes

Waders are an incredibly good piece of clothing for all types of land fishermen, but most common among fly fishermen. We sell two different types of waders.

On the one hand, there are old normal waders where the shoe sits directly on the trousers. These types are made of neoprene and are only sold with felt soles. Neoprene waders get very hot and breathe poorly. However, they are cheaper and an advantage when the water is cold.

The other type of waders are those that are separate pants and shoes. We prefer this type as the advantages are many. You become much more mobile in these trousers, they breathe and the separate shoes mean that they sit extremely well on the foot. Here you can choose the size of trousers and then choose the size of shoes, this means that the fit will be optimal.

There are two types of shoes. Either you choose a rubber sole or you run a felt sole. Rubber soles are usually used if you know you will be walking long distances, as the felt sole can wear out faster on hard terrain. If you don't walk long distances, a felt sole will do just fine, it gives a really good grip on slippery stones. If you choose a rubber sole, there are studs to buy for extra good grip.
