Hybrid Lures

Hybrid lures are a type of lure that is a mixture of different types of lures. For example, it can be a hard wobbler body with a soft rubber tail.

Often these baits are hot when the water is cold and the fish don't want too much movement in their prey. Just cranking these baits slowly causes the lure to rock forward while still having a trigger tail behind it.

Most commonly, hybrid baits are used for pike fishing as they have their "hang" in the water, which can be incredibly good as the pike can be finicky in colder conditions.
