Trolling rods

Trolling rods are used as it sounds for trolling. These rods are actually quite ordinary rods but of the stronger kind and often with a deeper and more forgiving action. Trolling rods are often between 7ft and 8ft long and are measured in 20-30lbs. Of course, you can troll with any rod, but the advantages of pure trolling rods are that they are often not made of pure carbon fiber, which makes the rods much stronger than ordinary rods.

Trolling is a method that is used for many different species, but it is common to troll salmon, trout, char, pike and zander.
