Westin W10 13-Braid Coastal 150m Morning Mist

The line is constructed from premium Japanese Ultra High Molecular Polyethylene (UHMPE) fibers and uses a 13X (12+1) design with 12 fibers woven around a central core to provide a superb round line with improved strength over 8-strand braid lines. W10 Coastal Braid features an Advanced Ultra High PIC construction with 56 weaves per inch for a smoother surface and higher abrasion resistance. The denser weave of Advanced Ultra High PIC also provides a smooth surface for longer, more accurate casts. Sea trout and saltwater anglers require a line with extra stiffness to avoid wind knots often caused by repeated casts in strong onshore winds. To achieve this, the W10 Coastal has a double Dura-Coating that gives the line more stiffness. The Dura-Coating gel process gives the braid a smoother, hydrophobic surface, which reduces water absorption and reduces friction.
