The U1 is manufactured in one of YGK's factories from a Japanese high molecular weight polyethylene called IZANAS (formerly known as Dyneema). The H-Grade PE material provides optimum softness and high abrasion resistance, while High-Straight Strength Technology ensures exceptional strength and durability under load. This makes the line suitable for a wide range of fishing conditions.
An additional special impregnation makes the surface of the braided line smooth and slippery, reducing water absorption. It also reduces friction in the guides and gives a longer casting distance. CRT (Color Resistance Technology) makes the color resistant to UV radiation and other stress factors.
The U1 braided line is a unique Favorite project, fully manufactured and packaged with the latest technology from YGK in Japan.
